Other Uses For Reiki

There are many other uses for Reiki. You may make the most of this wonderful energy anywhere. The uses for this healing method are endless.

We all develop habits and patterns. We go through life in a type of trance, unaware and unenlightened. We react to what we see as being out there. If you chose to use this love energy everyday you will start making choices in your life, instead of just reacting. When you do Reiki you will increase your awareness, vitality, health and peace.

You can bless your food with Reiki. This is like saying grace before eating. In this time of fast food and deadlines, we may forget to slow down for a moment to bless what we are eating. Remember to honor the plants and animals that provided your meal.

You may bless your drinking water with Reiki energy. Use the symbol that will best support you during the day and put the energy of the symbol into the water. Masaru Emoto discovered a way to photograph water crystals. He saw that drops of water formed very differently shaped crystals depending on the word written on the water bottle. He took a pictures of a crystal formed by a drop of water from the bottle that had the words “Love and Gratitude” written on it. That crystal formed in a beautiful and symmetrical form. The water from the bottle that had the word “Hate” written on it formed a crystal that was malformed and unattractive.

Your body is about 70% water. Consider blessing the water that hydrates your cells. Give yourself a chance of healing by providing part of the building blocks that make up your physical body.

You can use Reiki to bless your home, you electric appliances, your car, you job, your friends and family and the events that you may see on T.V. Everything in your world can be blessed with this healing energy.

Here is a story about a time I used Reiki to heal an inanimate object. I had an electric toothbrush that I used for almost 10 years. I enjoyed using this appliance and was always careful to put it on the charger when not in use. One day, when I was brushing my teeth, the toothbrush slowed down and stopped. I turned it on and off a couple of times and no response. Then I justified this situation, thinking the toothbrush was old. It had just worn out.

The next weekend I looked for a new electric toothbrush on sale. The best price I found at the time was about $90.00 and I didn’t want to spend that much money. During meditation, I received the message to use Reiki energy to heal the toothbrush. I held the handle in my hands and did a treatment. When finished, I turned on the toothbrush. It didn’t work and I felt disappointed. I released that feeling. I gave the handle another treatment. I turned it on again and it worked. The electric toothbrush worked for another year until I decided to buy another appliance. I learned through this experience that there are unlimited other uses for Reiki.

We live in a time of change that appears confusing to many people. There is the appearance of war, political discontent, and limited resources. Yet within this appearance confusion, you can decide to become a center for peace. You may use this healing energy to become such a center. As peaceful individuals come together, we will spread peace and healing. First we heal ourselves. Then we help our families and friends, and then our neighbors. Concentrate on those who want the healing. Some people are not ready to move forward. Since anyone who inhabits the planet is your neighbor, you can spread this love energy to all.
